Senior Power Plant Mechanical Supervisor

Location.
Ebeye, Republic of the Marshall Islands.

Duties and Responsibilities.
Reporting to the KAJUR GM, the applicant will be responsible for;
• The safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and overhaul of all mechanical systems within the utility on a daily basis.
• To initiate and monitor procurement of mechanical service items.
• The supervision and skill enhancement of local staff.
• Implement policies, rules, and regulations of the corporation.
• Assisting with the transition of remote plants to hybrid systems.
• Maintain, control and further develop maintenance procedures for all operations.
• Perform other duties or projects as required or as assigned by management.

Qualifications.
A Minimum of 10 yrs experience in similar industry work is essential and with experience in isolated locations preferable. A qualification in Mechanical Maintenance Engineering or any combination of equivalent experience deemed appropriate by management is required. A knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems and performance of major engine overhauls and repairs such as 40,000hr rebuilds of industrial engines and ancillary equipment is a requirement. A knowledge of steam, refrigeration air-conditioning and water generation equipment as well as hydraulic and pneumatic systems is required. We operate Cummins KTA50G series diesel engines.
